Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor collect into barns; but your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not a lot better than they?
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
And why take ye thought for raiment? Contemplate the lilies of the sector, how they develop; they toil not, neither do they spin:
And but I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like certainly one of these.
Wherefore, if God so dress the grass of the sector, which to day is, and to morrow is solid into the oven, shall he not way more dress you, O ye of little religion?
Subsequently take no thought, saying, What we could eat? or, What we could drink? or, Wherewithal we could be clothed?
(For in any case this stuff do the Gentiles search; to your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have want of all this stuff.
However search ye first the dominion of God, and his righteousness; and all this stuff shall be added unto you.
Take due to this fact no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the issues of itself. Ample unto the day is the evil thereof.
